With several new courses the region of Fez has became an outstanding Moroccan golf destination.
An 18 holes course among olive trees, eucalyptus and pine trees with a view on the Middle Atlas mountains. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson.
It will go through a major renovation until September 2014. During that period only 9 holes will remain open to players with a price
reduction on the green fee. A new club-house will be built as well as a sport centre (tennis, swimming pools, fitness...) and a playground for children.
Caddies are available.
The Royal Golf now offers introductory sessions that will allow you to discover this sport in an enchanting setting:
- 1h on the practice at 20€/pers.
- 2h starting on the practice followed by a few holes on the fairway at 40€/pers.
A 2nd 18 holes golf course (par 72) has opened in 2012 in the city center of Fez by the "Oued Fez" river on the Meknes road 5mn away from the medina after the Royal Palace. The course has been created by Johnatan Gaunt, a famous Scottish architect, in a pleasant natural environment with nice trees and many ponds sheltering wild birds which is quite unexpected in a city center. Electrical golf carts are available. A beautiful club-house has opened in 2019.
An exceptional 18-hole golf course at an elevation of 1650m in the heart of the Middle Atlas forests 70km from Fez.
A garden 9 holes course located in a unique setting inside the walls of the old town of Meknes, next to the Royal Palace less than an hour drive from Fez.
